1. OVERVIEW
This website is operated by Vanee Designs, a handmade crochet clothing brand based in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Throughout the site, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Vanee Designs.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use our Service.
All prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
2. HANDMADE & MADE-TO-ORDER NATURE
Every Vanee Designs piece is handmade to order. This means:
• Each garment is crafted individually after your order is placed.
• Production time is typically 2–4 weeks, depending on design complexity and current order volume. You will be notified if lead time exceeds this estimate.
• Because each piece is handmade, minor variations in stitch tension, dimensions (±1–2 cm), and colour compared to photos are inherent to the craft and are not considered defects.
• Screen colour display can vary between devices — actual yarn colours may differ slightly from images shown on our website.
• Small, natural imperfections are part of the handmade character and beauty of each unique piece.
3. ORDERS & PAYMENT
Order Acceptance
An order is considered confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and debit cards via our secure payment processor. All transactions are encrypted and processed securely.
Order Cancellations
Because production begins promptly after order confirmation, cancellations may only be requested within 24 hours of placing your order. After this window, the order cannot be cancelled as materials will already have been allocated.
Pricing
All prices are in CAD and are subject to change without notice. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
4. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We ship within Canada and internationally. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout.
Vanee Designs is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by their country's customs authority.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us and we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.

5. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Because every piece is made to order, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or sizing errors. We strongly encourage you to review our Size Guide before ordering.
We do, however, accept returns or offer a remedy in the following cases:
• The item arrives damaged or defective due to a production error.
• The item received does not match the description or your confirmed order specifications.
To initiate a claim, please contact us within 5 business days of receiving your order. Include your order number and clear photos of the issue.
Approved returns must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of approval.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website — including but not limited to designs, patterns, photographs, graphics, logos, text, and brand identity — is the exclusive intellectual property of Vanee Designs and is protected under Canadian copyright and trademark law.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit any content from this website without our express prior written permission.
The crochet designs created by Vanee Designs are original works. You may not reproduce, replicate, or sell items based on our designs without authorization.
Purchasing a garment does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. The item is for personal use only.
7. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, pricing, and images on our website are accurate and up to date. However, we reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted.
We are not obligated to fulfil orders placed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error.

You may not use our website or its content to:
• Engage in any unlawful or fraudulent activity.
• Infringe upon our intellectual property rights or those of others.
