Thank you for shopping at Vanee Designs. Every piece in our shop is carefully handmade in Val-d'Or, Québec. Please read the following policy carefully before placing your order.
 
 
1. SHIPPING
 
1.1 Order Processing Times
 
Because everything at Vanee Designs is made by hand, the time needed to prepare your order depends on what you purchase:
 
• Ready-to-ship items listed on the website: 5–7 business days.
• Custom / made-to-order pieces: 6–8 weeks from the date the signed agreement is received.
 
All orders are shipped on Mondays. Orders confirmed after Monday will ship the following Monday.
 
Rush production is available for an additional fee of $10 CAD. Please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability.
 
 
1.2 Shipping Carrier & Rates
 
All orders are shipped via Canada Post. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery address.
 
We currently offer standard shipping only. No free shipping threshold applies at this time.
 
 
1.3 Tracking Information
 
Where available through Canada Post, a tracking number will be provided to you by email once your order has shipped.
 
 
1.4 Shipping Destinations
 
Vanee Designs ships to Canada and the United States.
 
International customers (United States) are responsible for all customs fees, duties, and import taxes that may apply upon delivery. These charges are determined by your country's customs authority and are entirely outside our control.
 
 
1.5 Delays & Lost Packages
 
Once your order has been handed to Canada Post, delivery timelines are beyond our control. Vanee Designs is not responsible for delays, losses, or damages that occur during transit.
 
If your package appears lost, we recommend contacting Canada Post directly with your tracking number for assistance.
 
Signature on delivery is not required for standard orders.
 
 
2. RETURNS & REFUNDS
 
2.1 General Return Policy
 
Due to the handmade and made-to-order nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges, and refunds are not offered.
 
We encourage you to review product descriptions, sizing information, and care instructions carefully before placing your order. If you have any questions, please contact us before purchasing — we are happy to help.
 
 
2.2 Damaged or Incorrect Items
 
Vanee Designs is not responsible for items damaged during shipping. If you believe you have received a defective item due to a production error on our part, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
 
• A description of the issue.
• Clear photographs of the item and the damage.
 
We will review each case individually and determine the appropriate resolution.
 
 
2.3 Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
 
Custom and made-to-order orders are governed by a separate written agreement signed prior to production. The following conditions apply:
 
• A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order value is required before work begins.
• If the customer cancels the order or changes their mind after the deposit is paid, the deposit is forfeited.
• Pricing may vary depending on the size of the piece, as larger sizes require more materials.
 
 
2.4 Remake Policy for Custom Orders
 
If a custom piece does not match the agreed-upon measurements due to an error on the part of Vanee Designs (for example, the measurements provided by the client were not followed), we will remake the item at no additional cost.
 
A remake will not be offered in the following circumstances:
 
• The garment was not cared for as specified in the Care Guide provided with your order.
• The customer's measurements have changed since the agreement was signed.
• The customer's preferences or requests changed after production began.
